LGBT Bay Area Professional Network Reception with activelyOUT

Hello everyone,

We had a great time at the LGBT Professional Network reception. Who was there? 170+ LGBT professionals and a number of them were fellow activelyOUT members- managers, general managers, CEOs, and a Chairman or two. Pretty impressive group.

We had a great time. It was a great event to meet other LGBT professoinals. Where do we go to socailize? It was great to be among others who work hard and play hard outside of the generic bar scene while still being able to mix and mingle.

The LGBT speakers and representatives from numerous companies illustrated the "gay-ness" or LGBT acceptance in many corporations.

It was great to see OUT and Equal, the SF LGBT Center, and Reaching OUT MBA Conference being rewarded.

Special thanks to Clorox for being there and organizing the event.

It was fun to have our organization, activelyOUT, be invited and highly mentioned and recommended by the speakers and hosts.

Thanks for all who came out to reception. And for others, please stay tuned as activelyOUT will bring you another similar event in the coming months.

Who knew that some of the highest ranking officers belong to our family....

  • Lora Yates, Director, Manufacturing, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics ~ LifeScan

I wanted to say thanks for organizing, my colleague and I had a nice time! It's inspiring to see so many gay professionals who are all making a positive impact within their organizations. Take Care. Tony
