activelyOUT in the East Bay: East Bay Mixer

The gays invaded the Upton Bar on Telegraph in Oakland.

OMG... yes there are gay people in the East Bay! By all conservative estimates, there are over 45,000 gay people in Oakland according to the Gay and Lesbian Atlas. And a number of us activelyOUT members who live or work in the East Bay came out to mix and mingle.

There was a great mixed crowd present- older, younger, singles, some couples, and some women. I did like the energy.

Special thanks to East Bay Men's group for putting it all together. These mixers are on the first Friday of each month. So stay tuned and we will let you know what is going on.
